Global Opinion Leader (GOL) Training 2025

Bank Shinhan Indonesia sent 5 employees for Global Opinion Leader (GOL) Training to South Korea from July 1-10, 2025

Global Opinion Leaders (GOL) is an annual program officially launched last year, inviting participants from various Shinhan entities abroad. This year, GOL was attended by 56 participants from 14 Shinhan entities: Cambodia, Canada, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Myanmar (Yangon), Philippines, UAE (Dubai), UK (London), USA, and Vietnam.

Throughout the 10-day program, participants engaged in a variety of enriching activities at Blue Campus — including learning about Shinhan Way, SAQ, Global Strategy, and Shinhan Culture. They also experienced Korean language classes, traditional games, and field visits to Hanyang University and E9Pay to conduct interviews with foreigners living in Korea. A highlight for many of them was the chance to present their research to Shinhan executives — an empowering moment that showcased the value of collaboration and diverse perspectives.

In between learning and presenting, they also bonded over fun and cultural experiences, such as the SOL Game — a team-building activity inspired by Squid Game. More than just a training, the GOL program was a celebration of shared values, global friendship, and collective pride.
