Bank Shinhan Indonesia Officially Enlivens Financial Market

Bank Shinhan Indonesia officially enlivens Indonesia’s financial market after successfully acquired Bank Metro Express.

Bank Shinhan Indonesia also has successfully held the opening ceremony called “Shinhan Bank Indonesia Opening Ceremony” on May 16, 2016 in Kempinski Hotel Jakarta. The Bank now has 19 branch offices spread in Java Island, with headquarter located in International Financial Centre 2, 30th & 31st floor, Jl. Jenderal Sudirman Kav.22-23 Jakarta.

At the ceremony, Shinhan Bank CEO, Cho Yong Byoung, stated that the Bank will immediately do merger with PT. Centratama Nasional Bank (CNB) prior to the end of 2016, so that the Bank will have 41 additional branch offices across the nation. This is a part of Bank Shinhan Indonesia’s commitment to give fast and reachable services for its customers.

At the same time, President Director of Bank Sinhan Indonesia, Suh Tae Won, said that on the first stage, Bank Shinhan Indonesia will broaden its market share in 2016 by giving financial service to local customers and companies operated in Indonesia.

Furtermore, in order to maintain its competency in targeting retail market and local business which will be the main customers in the future, Bank Shinhan Indonesia plans to build a long term development foundation focused on development of international infrastructure.

On the second stage, Bank Shinhan Indonesia will maintain its market in Indonesia by concentrating on big blue chip companies and SMEs market. The Bank admits to develop localization strategy and organization development.

Then on the third stage, the Bank will broaden local market share by strengthen competitiveness on retail banking market. Those above stages are parts of Shinhan Bank vision to become the No.1 foreign bank as well as expected to give contribution in developing the economy of Indonesia.
