On 16 July 2019, PT. Bank Shinhan Indonesia has carried out Corporate Social Responsibility CSR activities by visiting the 'Si Boncel' Orphanage in Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta.

The Pondok Si Boncel Orphanage was established on April 1, 1972, was established to specifically manage orphans under the age of 7 (seven) years. There are currently 80 children entrusted to Pondok Si Boncel.

Mr. Hwang Dae Geu as President Director together with several representatives from Bank Shinhan Indonesia handed over symbolic assistance which was welcomed directly by Sister M. Tomasin OP as Chair of 'Si Boncel' Orphanage.

The event was handed over with the appearance of several children who showed their talents and interests. Mr. Hwang Dae Geu was very impressed with their appearance and the sincerity of the caregivers who have always faithfully cared for the children.
