Living Bandung Korean Projects

Shinhan Bank Indonesia turut serta berpartisipasi dalam program kepedulian masyarakat di Indonesia.

Through Country Director of Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and Shinhan Bank Indonesia in collaboration with the government of the city of Bandung in the construction of Living Bandung Korean Project (LBKP) building. 

On the last monday, March 28th 2016, The President Director of Shinhan Bank Indonesia Mr. Suh Taewon, along with Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Country Director Mr. Kim Byung Gouan, head of social services of West Java province Arifin Harun, and Head of social services of Bandung City Ajie Giyatmiko, cut the ribbon for the symbol of inauguration for LBKP Building. . 

The new financial institution that has established in Indonesia for a year and headquartered in Seoul South Korea, participated in helping to fund the construction of the building which is located precisely in Batununggal housing area. With approximately 1000m2 and stands on land owned by the Social Agency of West Java Province. This building has facilities that capable of supporting the needs of society, such as the multi-purpose hall, meeting rooms, training rooms, workshop space, bedroom, storage room and workshop equipment. 

This building was expected to be a means of support in alleviating poverty, improving people's welfare especially for the less fortunate. As well as means of social management with social welfare problems (POM) the beggars, street children, street singers and monitoring of former mental attitude with social ills.
